HARK! Is that Lana Del Rey I hear dropping hints?

The gorgeous Lana Del Rey is hard at work creating splendiful music videos for us to shine our eyes on in admiraty.
But when she did a short interview today with Triple J's Lindsay 'The Doctor'  McDoogle, she quoted: 'after my European Tour has finished in June I would like to come back to Australia'.
So lets keep our hopes up that she will do a Tour because if she does I am sure getting some tickets for me and my sister and friends...

Also at the moment Lana Del Rey (The Kiwi's Elizabeth Grant) is writing some songs for feature films so listen for one of her side songs.

The day has ARRIVED *claps

Well, well. Its Triple J's Hottest 100 Day!
My favourite songs so far that have been played would have to be:
Frank Ocean Super rich kids
Avicii Silhouetts
Kendrick Lamar Swimming pools
So, yeah..
PARTY ON PEEPS!

Sarah Blasko's 'Wide Awake' for Australia Tour

The honourable Sarah Blasko is set to swoop over Australia in the next few weeks. Setting her new album, 'I Awake',free.
I am so very exited to see that she has the heart to perform down in Tasmania seeing that many bands and artists alike never tour there. Playing with Orchestras from around Australia, this is set to be one sweet tour in our grasp.
Some people would say, 'Where is the new electronics?' 'Why does this sound like its just come out of the 1930's?', But seeing as her last album, 'As day follows night' sounded much the same as the second album 'What the sea wants, the sea will have', why not mix it up with a bit more of a Orchestral sound? I mean, see must be doing something right if shes got two ARIA awards.
'An Arrow' feels like a poetic depression creeping over a piano and swallowing up all of the violins, while 'New Country' makes me remember the old Sarah Blasko song, 'Hold on my Heart', though i have absolutley no idea why...

81/2 / 10

After silence, that which comes nearest  to expressing the inexpressible is music.

WELCOME, to Ball Park Music's Museum of MUSIC...

Oh my Grandma (no offence grandma:)) this band just recently released a new album which was AMAZING. Their arty farty and alternative, acoustic sound of their new album makes me VERY happy! One of the songs on this record is 'Coming Down', and boy when I first heard it I honestly thought it was from Ron Sexsmith's new album, and I just had to get it! Many of BBM's other hits are also on this collaboration, making this one of 2012's BEST ALBUM's in my eyes, what do you thing Mrs Coyote?:)

'Port of Morrow" is The Shins newest album, with a electro twist and a bright idea to the whole, Electro theme going on in the music bizz at the moment.OK, so this album is from a couple of months ago... but hey? Its still awesome right? I also voted for this album on the Triple J top album of the year page.

Jackie Onassis's Crystal Ball shows good signs

Jackie Onassis may not of hit hollywood yet, buthe is definatle rockinng the shores of australia with his hip-hop/dance vibe.Like most peerformers today they cater for the 30 and under crowd  of music, but with everyone trying so hard  to get to the tops these days, some songs can just be well... really really bad. But this duo of Tai Kan and Raph Dixon have stayed true to their plan and are really caring about what vibe their music is sending off. 'Crystal Balling' was their first  single from the duo with a bit of everythinng smoothed into it(i.e trumpets rapping). Their a bit of 360 mixed with a spoonful of The Razzle Kicks and a head full of Hilltop Hoods. This is one of Australia's secret superhero bands that    wont be under our belt for much longer, So good luck to them both!

triplej
rating: 5/5Definitely flips the switch on the laidback style you've shown us so far, but you do this so well that I'm not fussed when it's this good
